I'm wondering if anyone can help me with this. I am horribly technologically challenged. We are getting a new DVR box as part of a package with Comcast to get new phones. I have 70 episodes of AMC taped - does anyone know how I can save these to a DVD? I would hate to lose them. Any help would be appreciated - thanks! M.A.

IDK if your DVR box has the capability of transferring the VHS to DVD - you should contact Comcast to find that out. I have my own DVD recorder which has a VHS tape recorder/player, too & I can dub from VHS to DVD on that. Wish I could be of more help.

Sharon, thanks for the help! I got a reprieve for a few weeks - won't be turning the box in til the end of the month, so I have time to figure this out. I appreciate your response!

You're more advanced than I am, Maisie - I still use a vcr. But normally I just record the show directly to my computer with my Dazzle since I can usually watch it live either at 1:30 or later on TVGN if I miss it.

Thanks, Christy. Luckily I know I have this site as a backup in case I lose my episodes!
