I am so looking forward to this Book signing. However this week I started with a major probem with my right eye. I am now under the care of a cornea specialist and he says he is almost sure I will be able to go!!! as I am not driving - Ha I can hardly walk!!! I wore lenses that one was for distance and one close up - and that never bothered me but now these glasses that I had for like watching tv in bed!! are so different they make me think I might fall. sooo we shall see .I'm sure that as soon as I see TK I will forget all about my problem!!!

Nothing to worry about Ande, I'll help you stay upright. That is if I can stand myself, TK does tend to cause wobbly knees! LOL
Two weeks!!!! Eeeeeeeeeeeee!!!!

Ande, I'm sorry to hear about your eye problem. Hopefully you'll get used to wearing the glasses after awhile. But we'll put fluffy pillows all over Trinity's floors just in case. (g) (I know, maybe we should do that anyway.)

Thank you Ann, Di and Kathy for your concern.  I have "Fuchs endothelial dystrophy with epithelial defect"  that is what my regular eye dr said and this new specialist did not say anything further. they also thought that maybe something had gotten under my contact or just something got in my eye and did this. who knows - It does not hurt as much today but it still hurts !! He also said my cataracts are getting quite ripe!!! Its always something but these glasses are far from perfect!! have to be patient.  thanks and Di - glad you are coming !! what happened to the wedding?

Ande, the wedding is still happening but will have to go on without me.  I'm going to be seeing the newlyweds in NYC the following week so they won't miss me for too long

Ande, I'm sorry to hear about your eye problem. I think I'll put you and Brian together, he couldn't get used to his new sun glasses and fell down the steps of our hotel in Vancouver, this was last November.  He went back to have the glasses checked, but they said they were as they should be.!!!!!!Anyway he never wore them again.  He too, has a cataract thats not quite ready yet. I do hope your eyes clear up soon, a lot can happen in 2 weeks.

Take care, see you all soon.
Enis

((((((((Ande)))))))) I hope the eye problem clears up soon, sweetie, don't worry we'll take LOTS of pics so you can see and remember it all later too!

Although I was considered a "young" cataract patient (at my age I'm thrilled to be a young anything!), I was really excited to finally have the surgery (I was initially diagnosed at 46).  OH wow, I just realized Ann's never seen me without glasses ROFL!  Everyone else freaked, all they heard was "cataracts", but I was thrilled, because what I heard was "lens implants".  And for someone who's been legally blind since about age 8, it's nothing short of miraculous!  All I need now are readers and it's been really weird getting used to them (I was so very near-sighted).  To have 20/20 vision is just amazing for me and I'm so grateful for it every day.

I hope your condition clears up sweetie, I know how hard it is not to be able to see right.  It's incredibly frustrating.  But we'll all be there to help, so don't worry.
