As if I already did not have enough reasons to hate the ever-raging Lord Lavery, the filth that has been escaping his mouth lately has me shocked.  The other day, did he actually use the words "you had your tongue in Zach's mouth" to Reese?  Not that he had a mini camera in the middle of that kiss to know what it was like, but did he REALLY have to phrase it like that?  Who writes these dialogs?  I am not a prude, but this one line really made him sound so low-class.  Did he actually use the words "spreading the Cambias seed" to Zach?  Hell, at least Zach knew he was giving a precious gift to his then beloved SIL, while the abusive ass doesn't even know how many hundreds of Emma's there may be all over the globe, because HE SOLD his bodily fluid for money!

And as if all that wasn't sufficient to spike my BP, here comes the garbage in today's episode:

  • Can't believe Reese actually asked him this, but I was dying to know.  If you hate Zach so much, why the hell are you constantly in his casino to drink?  And the rage monkey explains, no, make that BRAGS, he is there to scope his new establishment.  And when Reese further inquires whether he BOUGHT the place from Zach, he had the gall to say he is going to STEAL it!  Believe me Ryass, no one would be impressed, you are only reminding us what a lowly piece of trash you are   Five shots at a time?  Ever heard of alcohol poisoning?  If only I were that lucky
  • Can't believe the piece of filth actually said "Hey beautiful" to Kendall when she walked in.  She is Zach's wife, but of course, it is not the first time the rage monkey will go after a married woman!  Was there a GPS chip in Zach's pocket, that told the rage monkey that Zach went to check on Reese?  It doesn't matter to me that Zach actually did go to Adam's, but was it any of the monkey's damn business to sit there making assumptions and then spewing it to Kendall?  This is how he is going to go after Kendall, by day in and day out shoving his versions of what Zach is doing and why?
  • Has the ass ever even met Taylor?  Whatever he heard about Zach having "pushed that army woman down the stairs" as he phrased it the other day, he wants to avenge what he heard through his gossip sources?  Today he mentioned it again, WHY?
  • By telling Kendall that he is scoping out the place because it's gonna be his, do the writers want us to pretend that we don't remember that Kendall co-owns the casino, so he is actually threatening her too?
  • Did Reese actually say she can't live with all the lies and secrets in reference to Kendall driving the car?  So, she can live with lies and secrets about her own past, about her engagement to a man, about her parents, to Binks, but she can't live with the knowledge that Zach was taking the blame for the accident?  How is that supposed to be affecting HER?
  • Did Kwak actually say that Amanda was "lying to get yourself a rich, available baby-daddy"?  Hello?  How long ago was it that she kept Adam and Tad in dark about Jenny's paternity from her ONS?  Not to forget, she and her baby-doll kept passing off Miranda as a Chandler baby, so they can leech on to the Chandler fortune!  Kwak REALLY needs to get off my screen.  Her Goddess/preacher routine is even worse than the trailer trash she was in her early days.  Oh wait, she is STILL a cheap slut
  • Did Adam actually say that Zach "single handedly" stole his company from him?  Is he forgetting that it was his precious JOONYER who put the whole thing in motion with his not-so-brilliant kidnapping hoax?
And wondering out loud here, does Erica's "best gal pal" of 3 decades have any idea that her very own son has repeatedly proven that he has no loyalty to Erica whatsoever?

Now that Fusion staff has dwindled to almost nothing, may be Brot and Taylor should be hired there, so they can use Fusion rooftop like everyone else, instead of PVH rooftop

Oh Kendall, Kendall, Kendall, did you HAVE TO leave Zach out of your speech   It would be one thing if you only mentioned the boys, or, if you had  generalized as "family" , but when you mention the boys and YOUR MOM, you so unnecessarily splashed your marital problem in front of the hypocrites of PV!

As always, the only saving grace on the show was Zach!  If it weren't for the masterful Mr. Kaye bringing us Zach's story, there would be no show to watch!  How awesome was his smack-down of the village idiot

I haven't seen the show yet, but I already know I'm going to want to marry this post.

That abusive, loathesome, grifter of a ragemonkey needs to get off my screen.  Never in my 20 something years of watching soaps have I hated a character so fucking much.

I never thought I would say this, but I think that my hate for Ryass has surpassed my love for Zach... just for today's episode.

Searose, you summed up today's show beautifully!
These writers (and I use that term loosely) have taken Kendall WAY beyond hurt and betrayed, and made her hateful and ugly.  Hurt and betrayed, we could deal with, but this nonsense is just obscene.

And Ryass...there are no words vile enough to describe how I feel about him!    My good friend, Sharon, said it best..."He needs killin'!!!"

Loved when Zach told Kendall that he wasn't upset that she didn't mention him in her "speech" because, "You never came back to me, anyway."  You got that right, Zach, honey!!

Thanks, TK for being the only thing that got me through this show today!

Love you post Searose.   This show sucks.  TK deserves so much better than this terrible writing

 Agree with Searose's tirade.
Want to vomit on Ryass, before hacking him to itsy-bitsy pieces.
Couldn't possibly love Zach any more than I do. Already at 200% or more.
Want to give Kendall a brain-rattling shake; REALLY wake her up.
Want Reeks to fall off of the earth....permanently.
Hate the current situation, but am enjoying the fact that TK has been
ON SCREEN  for the last 12 episodes without a No-Zach day!!! Is this
    a record?

Thanks ladies.  It helped a bit to get it off my chest.  But I know my BP will shoot up again in a couple of hours, because Soapnet's "on the next AMC" said Ryan takes out his grief on Zach!  More of the same shit

Seriously though, I know that a 24/7 happy Zach, no matter how deliciously gorgeously Zexy we may find him, probably won't be a gratifying role for Mr. Kaye to play.  But AMC tortures Zach relentlessly, with rarely a break of a few hours, let alone days or weeks.  IMO, having Ryan in the middle of Slater marriage is not the only way to cause angst and drama.  Ryan is not a worthy opponent.  Ryan is not a love-to-hate-him kind of watchable guy.  A good writer can come up with other ways to create excitement and drama without Zach's own wife always putting Ryan ahead of Zach.  As long as Zach gets some peace and comfort from time to time, a friend (how I wish Brooke would fill in for Myrtle!) to talk to, and a family, even if filled with imperfections, that loves him back, I would be content.

Pah, I think there have been a couple of times in the past when he had a longer streak, e.g. during SS s/l.  If I had my wish, Zach would be on 5 days a week, 52 weeks a year, with Soapnet running their marathons during daytime on Sat/Sun, but I know Mr. Kaye needs a break once in a while

Scary-spice girl- Searose...I call you that because I was just about to post my thoughts on the caliber of material actors like to be involved in. Your thoughts match mine completely! Agony for us to watch our beloved Zach get the royal shaft over and over, but I suspect better meat for an actor to chew on. It'd be nice if that the 'meat' would be filet mignon instead of ground squirrel. What I do recognize and appreciate is even with limited tools, the range and scope of the performance is all-encompassing. It's crisp and fresh. It takes the audience on an emotional journey, it suspends the ordinary and elevates the insignificant; it sustains and captures every moment in it's presentation.  It is to the actors talent...pure and simple, that turns swamp water into fine wine.

Which leads into my views on the writing...you KNOW that's my pet peeve. Beyond the obvious angst and anger that's conjured up by writing a ridiculous acting Kendall, they do nothing...nothing I say to up the ante in terms of sustained interest or totality in engagement, for an audience's involvement in the story. Not as it's written (term used loosely) these days. Surely not. There is investment...sure...but only as it relates to the actor involved, and by extension his/her character. And because of the fluidity in the basic DNA of these characters, even that investment, every now and again, derails not diversify.

My many colorful description of Ryan -the ninny- is.....well....available on any one of the posts I've written recently (and I'm sure there'll be more to come); and so though I dimly..I mean minutely... recognize the need here to create a dramatic climate for this character...it rarely works. It falls flat; the energy is scary and ineffective, therefore the scenes suffer and contracts in range, it loses credibility and instead hoists consternation, it becomes jape.....almost baffoonish in it's presentation. Yep..indeed....it is to an actor's talent...pure and simple that turns swamp water into fine wine.
