I think Kendall's going to do OK not being in the same building as the mighty Ryan.

Zach, I hope that was as good for you as it was for me!

Watching Zach stick it with such brilliant finesse to Ryan (and Greenlee) while poor Kendall's head rotates like a spectator at a tennis match... now that's entertainment. Just pleasepleaseplease don't be the weakest link, Kendall. For once please don't chose over Zach that hypnotic two-headed dragon that's already chewing you up and getting ready to spit you out. Please.

And TK deserves an Emmy just for the concerned expression on Zach's face while Cara was obsessing over Grieffin's disappearance.

Thanks for the clip Kathy!  That was GREAT line, and his expression as Rage Monkey said he was outbid by Zach!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  Another too short but too powerful Zepisode!  Of course, the Rage Monkey thinks he knows everything about everything and it is all about HIM!  Zach buying the building means "trying to RUIN" Rylee's life?  Are we freaking back to 2004/2005?  Gosh, the gall of Rylee, as Zach walks away to continue walking into Zach's living room, UNWANTED and uninvited, and even REFUSING to leave when Kendall asked them to!  It is so freaking puke worthy to listen to Rylee talk about Zach as if Zach were a mindless toy in David's hand.  Have they not known Zach at all?

I am saying this with hesitation:  Props to Kendall for finally telling Rage Monkey that he has been attacking Zach from the moment he returned.  But PLEASE don't let me find out that she then told Rylee all about Zach's plan!  Yes, please don't be the weakest link AGAIN.  I wish Zavid scene was a bit longer.

Kathy, ITA on TK deserving Emmy, for the scene you mentioned and all the little body language, rubbing his shoulder, etc. etc., making Zach SOOOOOOO perfect!  But I have to say, Debbie Morgan will probably include today's episode as her Emmy reel, and it was a good one!

That.WAS.AWESOME!!!!

I guess with Grieffen out of the picture today, they had to toss the original asshole at us, with a vengence.

WOW, the outrage over being outbid on a property they don't even own!  Imagine if Zach had drugged him for answers, slept with his wife, stolen his companies and then created a dummy corporation to buy Zach's casino from him.

EYE-FUCKING-ROLL!

I think it's safe to say that the writers aren't fooling anybody anymore, or at least anyone with brains so enough with the secrets and the non-conversations in the hopes we'll be surprised to find out that Zach (&Kendall) aren't really all about David.

Kathy, thanks for the clip!

I'm ready for Zach to have a quiet, sweet family welcome home full of happy smiles w/o half of PV in his face.

Yes Kathy it was good for me.

Eye-Fucking-Roll is right Alina.   Imagine if Zach had done that and yet NOT ONE FUCKING WRITER ever has any of this addressed.   I really don't get how every writer writes Ryass the same way, it's like they have a a formula they have to follow to write Ryass Lavery or they have to meet their quota of scenes he must be in because I swear he ruins every story because they have to give him a story.   This story is going no where fast and we're seeing the same stuff being said every day.

Zach's home not even a day and hasn't even seen his boys yet and he's all over the place.   Before Kendall went out she didn't realize Zach was gone?   Then he walks out Cara and doesn't come back.   Are you kidding me.

HORRIBLE WRITING.

It's a good thing I wasn't drinking anything when Zach mocked the mighty Ryan - that was utterly sublime. Asshole Ryan ripped Zach for speaking for Kendall when his little echo chamber Greenlee already had piped up about how hurt Kendall would be at what Zach did. I love it when Zach speaks to Greenlee like she's 5 years old. Kendall's predictable concern for Greenlee and Ryan was just so touching! Sniff.

I want to marry this sentence.

But of the things that really annoyed me today - Ryass's monumentally hypocritical gall, Kendall's I hate it/no, I'm fine/but it's challenging/how dare you talk about my husband that way doubletalking schtick (she might as well have drawn Ryan a diagram of the plan) - the thing that irked me the most was that I never got to see Zach actually walk Cara anywhere. Getting to see Zach in a scene with somebody who hasn't insulted, accused or come close to betraying him in the short time he's been back (though she still has time, of course) would have been a pleasant change.

Thanks so much for the clip Kathy!   TK was brilliant yesterday as usual.  Just waiting for Zach to have a great life with his family after all of this.

I LOVE it when Zach is quietly expressing his disdain for the Rage Monkey, and the facial expression that made me burst out in laughter yesterday shows up on your clip at the 1:09 spot. You can see by the way he is almost swallowing his own lips in an effort to keep his mouth from breaking out in a grin, and the sparkle of humor in his eyes, that he is so pleased with himself for one-upping and out-smarting that obnoxious creature. Way to go, Zach!!!!   It's these constant little subtleties that make TK the master actor that he is, and such a joy to watch.

So everyone's scene continues from where it left off yesterday, Hubbards, Martins, but we have to ASSUME that Zach left David's office?  We don't get to SEE him at home, WITHOUT riffraffs barging into his house?  We don't get to see 10 seconds of him being alone with his family in peace?  For God's sake, he hasn't even sat down on the couch or anywhere even for a moment!

FUCKERS !

pah, SO agree with you on TK's subtleties!  He is the master of his art!

I was watching Kismet on TCM (Ronald Colman! James Craig!) and reluctantly changed to AMC just in case, even though I was sure it wasn't a Zach day... and it wasn't, but hey, I got to see Agnes Nixon.

(Nothing personal, Agnes!)

LMAO!  Not only that but she was there to pimp/prop a virtual newbie in Cara Castillllllllllllllo!  A complete bust of an episode between the Cara propping, the David propping, the shrieking, the homophobia, the dead babies, etc.

And why does every other couple get what seems like neverending alone time and dialogue to discuss their particular trials and tribulations while Zach & Kendall (no matter how one feels about them as a couple) gets zero time alone to I don't know...reconnect, discuss the last 9 months, spend time with their kids, revel in a reunion they thought would never be possible, while plotting together to take all the losers down...

I absolutely LOVE the Zach I've gotten.  Thorsten has been sublime.  I love that he's a man on a mission. I love Zach being completely in control and playing mind games with the self righteous, pompass ass idiots that inhabit PV and unfortunately invade his own home.  But, the lack of the other aspect of Zach's life, in order to "trick" the audience that has mostly figured it all out weeks ago...just pisses me off.   I appreciate LB/AN knowing-recognizing that Thorsten/Zach were integral to AMC's canvas and getting him back for AMC's final ABC curtain call but they've also managed to take the heart out of a reunion that should have been full of heart and heartfelt emotion.  Never in a million years did I ever think to see Zach & Kendall, reunited after months of thinking it impossible, being forced to act like complete strangers and continually surrounded by pests...especially when AMC has so little time left on the air.

You said a mouthful, Alina!  I'm still waiting for that big emotional, passionate reunion & it hasn't happened. It's just all very deflated & so choppy- they act like it's a big deal to give us 5 secs of Zach or Zendall & yet others scenes run on & on ad-nauseum.  I'm really disappointed & really ready for something more bef it's all over.  Not that I'm disappointed in TK!  Without him, there would be no reason to watch - period!  But as you said couldn't they give him 5 mins to sit on the couch & reconnect with his loved ones?  Is that so much to ask?  AN didn't
do much for me either, sorry to say.

Alina, I was thinking today that given the dizzying heights of importance to which Dr. Demento has now ascended in PV, even to the point of being the friggin' Agnes Nixon character greeter, the amount of time spent on Zach's plan to get him could hardly be any less prominent, or (aside from TK's incredible performances making the most of everything he's been given) less satisfying from my fervent "I want David to go down" POV. It should have equal air time with the David/Orpheus stuff.

This is lopsided beyond belief. And in addition to getting to see Zach lining his ducks up in a row instead of always having to picture him doing it offscreen, what could be a better contrast to the horror of ego monster David playing god with peoples' lives and health without permission than simple scenes of a reunited family. But this is AMC, so it's SS, DY... Ryan gets to spend more time in Zach's living room than Zach does.

And I fear this story isn't even going to be about Zach in the long run, but about Ryan. Given how Ryan has always horned in on Zach's storylines, I'm really wondering if the ultimate plan is for Ryan to go behind Zach's back and (despite Zach's careful machinations), end up taking David down with what he learns on the sly from Kendall, either if she spills the beans, or from deduction/stalking her and/or Zach.

Yeah, Ryan saving PV from Dr. Frankenstein at Zach's expense... what do you think are the chances?

Exactly!

It's just so frustrating. Too much of Zach's story, conversations are happening off screen.  Important stuff that we should be seeing and hearing and which we'd enjoy being a part of, is being sacrificed in order for LB to have her "gotcha" moment.  We can't see Zach alone in his house, having a nice time with his family because then Z/K would actually have to have a conversation that may clue the audience into their secret plan.  Pisses me off that we're being deprived of the heart of this story to keep this unmysterious, mystery going.  The only thing that would shock me is finding out Zach doesn't have a plan, is really David's #1 fan and has decided that being a family man & being reunited with his kids and Kendall is not his cup of tea anymore.

Could not have said it better.   Do you know who had the high count this month, the Castillos.  WHY? WHY?   WHY?    What the hell is so interesting about either one of them.    Once again Zach fans are getting shortchanged and it makes me absolutely sick.    Even the ratings have gone down since after TK came back.   They went up for his return and now are back down because NONE OF THIS is what anyone wants to see.  FU AMC.  I am so done with this show.

The storyline may not be what I want to see but when has it ever been? Just about never. But I sure as fuck want to see TK and Zach regardless. That's the bottom line for me! When he's on AMC, I watch it -- when he's not, I don't. It's that simple. I can't imagine being done with AMC as long as he is on it.

Kathy Thorsten is the ONLY thing keeping me watching (the days he's not on I FF through most of it) and I will watch regardless of how I feel about the story because of him and his brillance whenever on my screen.   When I said none of us want to see this I'm not talking about him but about this story that is so horribly written.   We expected so much more from LB and AN.  Once this show ends if TK doesn't go to PP I certainly won't be watching like I didn't watch when he left last year.   There isn't one character that intersets me anymore except him and I've watched this show my entire life.  SO SAD.

Yes,this.  I haven't watched AMC MY entire life, but I have watched it ITS entire life.  And yeah, for quite some time now, TK's the ONLY thing I'm watching for.  No TK, no me (that sounds familiar, where have I heard that before???) FU AMC, and FU Brian Frons.

Come on ladies, you all are still hoping that The Rabid One won't hijack the climax of this s/l?  Why else has he been whisper-shouting and harassing Zach from the moment HE "rescued" Zach?  He will, as always with all other stories, be the one to bring David down.  That is, if Agnes did not awaken David's soul by invoking his father's memories yesterday   I mean, WTF was THAT all about?  David is supposed to suddenly have some sort of enlightenment and become a good guy?  I was SO not happy with AN visit.  She would have done more good by knocking some sense into Joonyer.

And PLEASE, are PVH board members the only ones with connections and power?  I would have much rather seen ZACH call in a favor in Washington to get Cara her greencard (which, BTW, you don't just get handed like that, regardless of qualifications, from what MY connection told me.  Yes, you get immediate APPROVAL to stay/work in the country, and the card follows, most likely a few months later, LOL).  Because ZACH is the kind of guy who would take care of and protect the woman who will be taking care of his recovery, especially when the said woman's life is "in danger".  THAT to me would have been a lot more believable!!!!!!!!!!

As for Zcenes, my expectations were low to start with, and except for a couple of Zepisodes, TIIC stayed true to themselves.  We don't get to see Zach have a family moment.  Slaters haven't been alone in their own home for even five seconds so far.  We don't get to see Zach working on his plan.  We are being treated like fucking idiots who are supposed to be "shocked and awed" when the whole thing unfolds, as if we can't figure it out weeks ahead.  If it weren't for TK's brilliance, this whole thing would be a major dud.  ITA Alina and Kathy, too much of Zach stuff is happening off screen.  Even in Zcenes, the camera is often on other characters when Zach is talking, and of course, it is on other characters when they are talking.  We literally get glimpses of Zach.   Some things just don't change with AMC, and then they don't understand why the ratings were too low for the show to continue

In a few minutes, I am going to post bits of AN interview in Scoops folder.  Let me warn you, my comments to her comments are not coming from a happy place!

ETA:  It is posted.
