I loved Zach and Lea today.   The Zessie friendship is something I hope that the writers continue to develop!  I love Zessie scenes.  I loved Zach asking Jessie for protection for Kendall and the boys.  I would love to see Zach visit his sons soon~

OT:  Pete and Colby were a bit too much for me.  It is amazing what they can get away with online now.

"More" was a "Bore" again, except for the five seconds of Zcene from Wednesday and AWESOME five seconds of upcoming Zach/Lea scene!  I can't wait to see Monday's show.  Zach and Lea in a real conversation, I hope it will get decent amount of time, so I can get some of my own questions answered

Had to go hunting around for that show again today - it was only on the OLTL section when I watched it, but it was worth the effort!!! And I had the exact same reaction...whatever Zach's response is, it better get screen time commensurate with its significance!

The Z/L preview looks great!

Taking guesses at how Zach answers the question.

Regardless of how he does answer (IF he answers), I love that they are actually having a real, deep, thoughtful conversation with each other and both look so vulnerable.  I really pray that they are given ample time to talk and that we get some answers to the questions we've all been having, i.e. how long have they been divorced? why is he wearing his ring still?  how is his relationship with his sons?  does he see them? etc.

Monday's show better not be all about Dr. David Saves Lives and Angie kissing his feet for helping Cassie.

I just got to watch the show and I am pissed!!! 10 minutes!?!?!?!?  Really?!?!?! and we get the kids shoved in our face again!
I don't care what "Cara" is wearing to the emmys and I already know Cady is a drunk.
The girl who plays Heather has been on for what....3  episodes? And they think I care about her laundry?

Is it Monday yet????

DAMN, some things never change!  Just when I thought they are going to give us a little slice, or at least a decent bite of what has been going on with Zach and his family, they slapped me back to reality that this is AMC after all, and we are only going to get one little crumb at a time!  Of course Zach is not the type to share his innermost feelings with someone he hardly knows, but it would have been nice to have a little more of their conversation.  I think the new PTB are as obsessed with teenies as the old ones were with Rylee.  There is no balance between the exposure given to Heather/Colby/Celia vs Zach/Jesse/Lea.  The only grown-up to get as much attention is David the hero, the savior.  And of course, he is the only one who could calm Angie down, UGH.  Loved the Zesse hug though!  That was the highlight of the show, along with Zach, looking devastatingly handsome in his Red Wings sweat-shirt, all stirred up about wanting to keep his boys safe.

The only reason to watch this show is that Mr. Kaye ALWAYS makes the best of every single moment that he is on screen.  That is also something that will never change!

Unrelated:  I noticed they split "More" into two, AMC vs OLTL.  Good idea.

searose, one crumb at a time is right! I don't know why I expected anything else. But that crumb was pretty tasty! I should have figured we wouldn't see Zach answer that question but I did enjoy what we did get of Zach and Lea. I just want more. But my favorite moment too was when Zach hugged Jesse.

I wondered why BCT is still eating up airtime - normally I like it when shows connect to the past but he is one character who should have stayed dead and buried! Especially when he brings up another character who is dead and buried and so much missed.

You are so right - this show lacks balance exactly like the original one did. Can't get a break from David and now there's a new Dr. Dick Screenhog in town, oh joy!

Wish they would just shitcan that More show altogether and use the time to air what we actually want to see, the real show!

Today was the first day I was too interested in the Zach/Lea dynamic to really care about how utterly and ridiculously unrealistic their situation is (gee, who wouldn't want to be held in the personal custody of an FBI agent of the opposite sex when you get put up in a nice hotel with room service at your disposal? And even have a change of clothes delivered?). In fact, this was the first episode I watched two times right in a row. (g)

I did enjoy the BCT scene... it was like it was inserted from a different show, though. But GAH, I am so sick of David! Zach is the one whose freedom is on the line because of these Russian thugs, but David is the one who gets to save the day with Cassie. David is the new Ryan.

(Do today's kids actually know who Lou Reed is?)

Anyway, back to the best part of today's show -- Zach. More like that, please.

I also wanted to hear more about Zach's feelings, but if you think about it . . . it was written all over his face and in his body language.  Zach is a man who loves deeply and when he says forever, he means forever.  Except when its not.  So yes, I want to see Zach happy and carefree, but he wouldn't be him if he didn't feel the loss of his family has deeply as he is.  Someone pointed out to me that THIS could be Zach's story . . . his learing to let go and move on.  Its hard to watch Zach so unhappy, but damn, TK plays it so well.

You all know I love Zach and Kendall, but I absolutely can watch him move on and love him in another pairing.  But what is pissing me off is the thought of him not having contact with his boys.  I get that it is for their safety at this point, but still . . . he is one of the best dads a soap has ever portrayed and he NEEDS his boys in his life.  And they need him!!

I don't hate David the way some do and I love when we get to see his human side, like he did with Angie.  I do agree that he is featured way to much though.

Ditto to every word of June's post.  I especially agree that   because of Thorsten's extraordinary ability to show us what is going on in his head without saying a word, he really doesn't depend on the writers to put it into the script for him, as others actors do.  He also understands  (and protects) just who and what Zach is.... better than any of the writers  ever have, IMO. I do wish Zach had a larger portion of the air time. Most of the other characters don't really interest me that much.

OhKaye, so Lea is already suspecting something is wrong with the picture.  It would be nice to see Zach be cleared and off the suspect list, but I would love to see ZACH be the one to put the pieces together, AND help Jesse get out of the mess.  I need more Zach-time in this s/l since it is tied to his casino.  PRETTY PLEASE!!!!!!

I found it distracting that one moment, Zach is outside Cassie's room with Jesse, and the next moment, Dixie is in the same place with Jesse.  Sure a couple of hours could have passed in-between in real time, but STILL, why do we get no Zach & Dixie face to face?  So are the new writers too busy to figure out how to have them interact, or are they trying to keep the old writers' mistake going?  They do manage to mention other characters and update us on their status, like mentioning Frankie/Randi and Natalia/Brot (glad both couples are intact) and Tad and Erica, so how difficult can it be to write a simple Zach and Dixie run-in?

As for the rest of the show, Dimitri calling Palmer "A Class Act" was a class act itself, since they "didn't see eye to eye on many things".  I wish Petey was in the room to witness Opal/Dimitri hug and the warmth it exuded since he is too young to remember.  I think the show tries to rush through some things and is taking away some of the emotional aspect which is true soapiness of soaps.

And since I mentioned keeping the old writers' mistake going, I wish the new team would discontinue the cross-generation bed hopping.  Every time a man sleeps with mother and daughter, it makes my stomach turn inside out.  I am SO not looking forward to David/Colby romp on Monday

Not that there ever is, but there was so not enough Zach on the show today for me. Searose, I too wondered about the lack of Zach/Dixie scene when they were both in the same place. Oh, and I can't believe Opal sold Cortland Manor to BCT, Palmer would be spinning in his grave! Zach should have been the one buying it! And I want a Zach/Dmitri scene...you'd think Dmitri would be aware of who he was already because of Maria/Edmund. It was nice to see his and Opal's reunion. I'd rather see a Dmitri/Brooke/Opal triangle than anything to do with David/Petey/Colby, that's for sure. I just want more Zach....sigh.

Agreed!!  Not enough Zach today, but I do think that Zach will start to put the pieces together and realize that Jesse is under the Koslov's control.

I also was hoping for a Zach and Dixie scene, but it doesn't look like that is going to happen.

I wonder if Zach will try to get Lea to back off from Jesse??  I want Zach to be the one to bring these guys down!!  Its because of them that he has lost his family!!

Christy, as for Opal selling Corland Manor to BCT, this is PV, and people can buy homes without the seller knowing anything about them.  Remember when Ryass bought Zach's old condo?  I wondered even back then if there is a law in PA that allows exclusion of buyer's identity from the contract, LOL.  What I fail to see is the need to have BCT in PV.  Initial comic relief is over with, and there is no need for PV to have his "legitimate" business on a regular basis.

Yes, Dimitri should be well aware of who Zach is, since Zach was the prime suspect for Edmund's murder.  But then again, AMC did not even have Dimitri attend Edmund's funeral, not even for Maria's sake!

"More" is so moving in the wrong direction, we got the least amount of Zach-time today.  Granted the episode was about Emmys, but since they did cover what happened last week and what is coming next week, they could have given us a little more of Zach and a little less of ......... whatever, it's a long list.

Too much Colby!

Too much Petey!

Too much BCT!

Too much David!

And, at the risk of sounding like a broken record...........

Too little Zach!

And Kassie story is still hard to watch!

Searose, I am now FFing through all the Petey/David/Colby/BCT crap. Makes for much more pleasant viewing.

I thought we were going to get more Zach scenes today than we got so I was not a happy camper anyway. And it's not that I'm a Dixie fan, but she and Zach are friends, and I was even more irked that there was no "Zach! Long time no see! Welcome back to Pine Valley!" or whatever scene - just something.

NOW, my patience is wearing thin.  At the risk of being redundant...

Too damn much of everyone but Zach!

The more I see of Petey and Colby and David eating up the show, the more annoyed I get!

Redundant I know, but ditto!  Too little Zach, too much BCT, David/Colby/Petey - I don't get it.  I have been ffw'ding for some time now.  Lots ezr.  Another puzzling thing to me is why there is so little of Griff.  Not that I personally care, but I would've thought he would be front & center & he's totally incognito most of the time.  Oh well - I'll keep watching for Zach/TK - whatever we get.

Not sure why we are not seeing Griffin, but as far as I'm concerned, I'd like to never see him again.  But the actor is on recurring, but he isn't even in the opening credits.

I feel like this is ABC's AMC sometimes . . . way to little Zach!!

Too much EVERY-DAMN-BODY.........

Too little Zach!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We got a whole minute and a half of Zcene early on and then 40 seconds at the end?  While everyone else got nice, long scenes throughout the show?  But at least Dixie acknowledged Zach's existence today !  Zach and the tilt of his head, he knows SOMETHING is up with Jesse, it is a matter of time before he figures it all out.  I loved, absolutely LOVED his "She wants a piece of THIS"   That was pure Zach, just like his concern for Cassandra.  However, it annoys me that a fresh-out-of-prison David has a home, Miranda has a classroom, Chandler Media has production area (but Dimitri and Brooke are always on their feet, LOL), even dimwit Celia has her own room, but Zach still lives at the police station and at the coffee house?  I mean, I understand he is working day and night on solving this case, but still.........

Cassie scenes continue to be difficult to watch, and I am afraid it is not going to be over any time soon.  Knowing AMC, I bet she is pregnant and will give birth.  Oh, and the David show continues!  We start with the barf-inducing scene of him and Colby in bed, he (as always) knows more about new meds than ANY damn doctor at PVH or elsewhere, he gets another face-off with Dixie, and, as Angie in not-so-subtle way pointed out to us, "Jesse, he left, it had something to do with work, and DAVID was there to help me AGAIN" !!!!!!!!!!  I understand Angie is going through hell, but her falling for David will be a low point for AMC!

No preview, so no way of knowing if Zach will be on Monday
Monday is so far away............

This scene was shown in the previews on the More show last Friday as a preview for this week - but it wasn't shown this week at all.

Lea's hair is down in the preview and it was in a ponytail on show, so when was this even filmed? But I was looking forward to it and I am so pissed right now. But I guess they hadn't devoted enough of the show to Rya - I mean David already

I'm sick of Cassie, sick of AJ and Miranda, reeeeaaalllly sick of Colby who is obviously is poised to eat whatever time is left on the show after all the David scenes, sick of BCT and disgusted that he was the one who got to save AJ, and now that the show is putting up deceptive previews, it's like there's just no relief in sight

Oh, and searose, I agree with every word you said!

I was really looking forward to that scene too!  I'd like to think they'll show it on Monday but I like to live with feet firmly planted on the ground.  Not expecting it at all.

Fuckers!

I guess I missed this (or wasn't paying strict attention to More) but it looks to me like the picture is Dixie, Jane, Cara, Cassandra and Miranda. With Cassandra looking that well I think it would have to be a few weeks down the line.

Ann, that picture was the title image for the entire More show which was mostly Emmys stuff. Those unrelated title pics show up even when you're just displaying a tiny portion of the show. Anyway, when you click on it you will see a brief Hulu title sequence which also plays automatically, and then the preview I mean.

Uh oh.......... I did it again!!!!!!!!!!!!

Before any of you tell me, I know, I know I am a glutton for punishment, LOL.  After bitching about "More" for weeks, I still tuned in first thing in the morning, and just like the first time the scenes aired, it was too early in the morning for the "computer talk" to be repeated, UGH!  I did not care to listen to the feedback about the scene.  And of course, even though it was Petey/Colby scene, they HAD TO bring VI into it to get his opinion.  Of course they HAD TO follow up with David/Colby romp!  This really IS turning into a David show, all David all the time

No Zach in the preview, but I loved Jesse hitting Yuri, it seemed like he did that for Zach, unless it was a bad cut and paste job.  Of course he will pay for it too.

I can't believe they will be putting the whole week's shows online on Monday mornings.  Really?  That will be like having a one hour show a week!  And they will be doing that while OWN is doing the trial run?
